Thank you for your prayers for our family. We have definitely felt them . . . and keep praying, please. We are still in the thick of a hard schedule with lots of flying.
Just the other day I looked at the calendar from the last few months, Rod has been gone six out of the last seven weekends — every Saturday and some Sundays too. He plans to be home this week for a few days, taking his first full comp days for most of the time. It has just been too busy for even that luxury.
He told Cristiana the other night that he would be home and was going to turn his cell phone off. She looked very worried and said, “No, what if Mama NEEEEEEDS you?” We had to explain to her that he was going to be with us the whole time. Then she smiled from ear to ear. How precious!
The girls and I are faring actually well. We have gotten into a nice routine that we keep whether Daddy is here or not. It definitely helps when he is not.
Rod has been sustained as well during this. Our daily prayers for him are for strength and safety, and for awareness and alertness as he flies. That he is able to continue as he is asked, and that the Lord gives him the strength to keep going.
We definitely feel that . . . even now!

Hi Michelle!
It has been a long time since I have written but you are always on my mind. I will pray for you and your family today. Being a mother of two is not easy, I know, but with the help of God you will be able to persevere. I have become a fifth grade teacher so that I may spend my days working with children. I know that this has been God's plan for me because it feels to right. Someday I hope to come to Africa to serve in some way with the children. God will show me the right time. Please know that a day doesn't go by when I don't think of the sacrifice you and Rod have made to help mankind. Your glory will come in heaven where sleep won't even be an issue. Hang in there girl, your retirement plan is out of this world!!!! Love CJ Holloway
